Dates for one of Disney World’s most popular festivals have been announced. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival starts on August 28 this year and runs through November 22.
This is a fun and delicious festival that takes place at EPCOT. During the festival there are different stands located throughout the park (mostly in the World Showcase area), games, festival specific merchandise, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series (the lineup has not been announced yet), and more. There is a good amount to experience during Food & Wine, which is one reason it’s so popular.
Disney has not yet released a full list of all the stands that will have food and drinks available for guests to purchase. However, they have announced that there will be over 35 Global Marketplaces, so there should be something for everyone. The different stands are listed in the festival passports, which are available at the entrances and around EPCOT, once the festival starts. These passports will have the menus from each food stand listed, as well as check boxes next to each item, so guests can keep track of what they have tried.
Some things returning this year are Emile’s Fromage Montage and Remy’s Hide & Squeak. Emile’s Fromage Montage is a type of food focused scavenger hunt. After collecting the required amount of cheesy stamps in the festival passport, guests collect their prize. The prize for completing Emile’s Fromage Montage a complimentary cheesy snack.

Remy’s Hide & Squeak is a very cute scavenger hunt. Guests purchase a map with stickers at a select location and then they have to find Remy in different areas around the World Showcase. Once all the Remy’s have been found, guests can bring the map to a specified location for a special prize.
