Disney has been streaming some of their nighttime shows and parades, to many people’s delight. It’s always fun when they do that, because it makes you feel like you are there.
Not everyone can make it to Disney World and see all of the great shows that are in the parks. The live streaming helps to give people at home a glimpse into the park for the evening. I know I am for anything that makes you feel like you are in Disney!
The next show to be streamed live is “Rivers of Light” in Animal Kingdom. This is a breathtaking show. I was able to see it the last time I was in Disney and it is now a favorite. Between the floats, the projections on the water, and the music, it is a beautiful sight. The narration during the show is told by the storytellers through dance, music, song, and shadow puppetry.
The live stream will start at 8:40 pm (EST) on Tuesday, August 22. Disney Parks Blog will add a new blog at the to of the page with the live video. You can also follow along on social media with the hashtag #DisneyParksLIVE.
I’m very excited for this live stream, because I love this show. If you are in Animal Kingdom in the evening then I would highly recommend getting in line to see “Rivers of Light.” It has become a must-do attraction for me. The show takes place on the Discovery River and has a couple of different seating areas, one is for those with FastPasses (by Expedition Everest) and the other is for those in the standby line and those that purchased the dining package (by Finding Nemo The Musical).
If you can’t be in Disney World any time soon to see the show then make sure to watch the live stream on Tuesday. Will you be watching?
Thanks for reading!
