Something that has been missing in Disney World is finally returning, albeit a little slowly. Disney announced today that the parking trams will be returning to service soon.
Starting with Magic Kingdom later this month, guests who drive to the park will once again be able to use the parking trams. As of right now, it sounds like it’s just Magic Kingdom that will be getting the trams back by the end of the month. In a tweet from Disney earlier they say that the trams are returning to Magic Kingdom later this month and other Disney World theme parks throughout 2022. I’m not sure why they’re spreading it out like this, but hopefully “throughout 2022” is more like throughout the beginning of 2022, but we’ll see what Disney says when they release more information.
The trams are definitely a helpful service for guests who use the parking lots. Those parking lots are big and it can be a long walk, especially when you’ve already spent the whole day walking around the parks. So it’s nice to see the trams at least coming back to Magic Kingdom this month. Plus, it means more cast members got called back to work, which is always a good thing.
See Disney’s tweet below with a video they made for the announcement.

Do you usually use the trams when you visit the parks?
