Christmas has landed not only in the parks, but also in the Disney Stores. I visited my local store yesterday and was told about the ornament while I was checking out. The cast members in our Disney Store are so friendly and helpful. Plus, they love to talk Disney. So it’s a nice substitute when you can’t be in the parks.
The promotion for the ornament is that if you spend $25 you get the ornament for $10. It is originally $19.95, so it’s 50% when you spend the $25. If you are buying things anyway, then it’s worth it. I was buying ornaments for the kids and spent the amount needed to get the discount. So I figured, why not? It’s really cute!

The ornament is glass and it is a tear drop shape. The front of it is open so you can see the Mickey and Minnie figures inside. There is a winter scene inside the ornament where Mickey and Minnie are standing in snow and Mickey is giving Minnie a present. There is a blue bow on the top of the ornament and snowflakes around the outside with red and green jewels in the middle of some of the snowflakes. The year is on the back of the ornament.
It really is very cute. It’s something I would consider leaving on display all year. Even the box it came in is cute. It’s a very light blue with silver snowflakes all over and a picture of Pluto pulling Mickey and Minnie in a sleigh.
The promotion will be going on for this week and next week the promotion will involve a Mickey and Minnie snow globe. It’s the same idea, spend a certain amount and get a discount on the snow globe.
The ornament is also on disneystore.com, but I’m not sure if the deal applies to online as well.
