Disney World is becoming the place to be for Star Wars fans. A new experience is headed to Disney Springs and will be available this holiday season.
THE VOID, an entertainment company, will be bringing a hyper-reality experience to guests of Disney World. It will be called Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire and will allow guests to become part of the Star Wars stories.
There aren’t too many details yet, but Disney said guests will be able to interact with Star Wars characters as well as with their family and friends. This will be accomplished through sight, sound, touch, smell, and motion. They will even have Haptic feedback, so guests will be able to feel environmental effects.
Even if you are not a Star Wars fan this sounds like an experience that everyone will want to try. I’m hoping more details will be released soon, because it sounds like it’s going to be really fun, but it would be nice to know a little more.
I’m glad that this experience is going in Disney Springs. It will be good to have another option, other than shopping and dining, especially since DisneyQuest has closed. We will keep you posted on any further details that are released.

It should be in place by then. Disney has said it will be available this holiday season, so I would imagine by Thanksgiving or Christmas it should be available.
