Disney has released the dates for the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. One thing to note, the date range is shorter than it’s been for the past few years.
Over the past few years the festival has begun in mid – late July, but that’s not the case for 2024. This year the Food & Wine Festival will begin on August 29 and run through November 23, 2024. So, catching the festival in July or most of August won’t be possible this year. As much as I was hoping for an earlier start, it’s probably a good thing. This will give a little time for EPCOT to be festival free for those who would like to navigate around the World Showcase without the food stand crowds.
EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Includes:
- Global Marketplaces (food stands)
- The Eat to the Beat Concert Series
- Scavenger Hunts
- Specialty Merchandise
Disney has not released any information, other than the dates, so it’s not known yet who will be playing at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series or which countries will have food stands. However, that information should be released soon, since they’ve now released the festival dates.
This festival is one of popular events guests like to attend, so it gets busy, especially on the weekends. If you plan on visiting EPCOT during the festival make sure to get one of the booklets at one of the entrances of the park. The booklets have a list of all the food stands and other information of things to do at the festival. Scavenger hunt maps are also available for purchase (usually around $10). The scavenger hunt is a fun activity for guests to do while in the park, and they get a prize when it’s completed.
