It’s hard to believe it is already that time of year, but here we are. The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival begins tomorrow and that means lots of new food and drink options will be available in Epcot for two months.
The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is almost here. In a little over a month, Epcot’s World Showcase will be taken over with lots of different delicious choices surrounding the lagoon.
More news from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! Every year Disney offers special seminars and parties during Food & Wine and this year is no different. Starting July 21 guests will be able to book these premium events.
More and more information is starting to be released for this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The Festival will run from September 14 to November 14 this year. It’s been announced that for this year the Festival will extend past the park.

The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is one of the most popular events held at Disney World. We had our first experience this past September and absolutely loved it! Now Food & Wine fans will have extra time to enjoy the festival.

This was our first year experiencing the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and we had so much fun. We were lucky in that we traveled with friends, so we could take turns having date nights. Pretty much every date night was spent in Epcot for the festival. We each canceled other reservations to walk around the World Showcase and enjoy what Food & Wine had to offer.
Time has flown by and we are now at the last weekend of Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival. Can you believe it?
We’ve all looked at the pyramid in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot and thought “I wonder if you can climb that?” Common sense kicks in and keeps us from making an extremely poor decision…at least for most of us.
I’m sure you have seen this video by now, but a man was recorded climbing the pyramid and it looks like he made it to the top. Due to the behavior and the fact that it happened during Food and Wine Festival, people are naturally assuming he was drunk.
No reports have come out as to what has happened to the man and this is a topic of conversation in a lot of Disney forums today. People are thinking that he will probably be banned from the park. I would say there is a good chance of that. Disney likes to keep things happy and safe.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the video was first posted on Instagram. In the article it says that the man climbed to the top and disappeared from sight. It’s assumed he climbed down the side of the pyramid. Apparently, a woman from his group tried to climb the pyramid too, but security stopped her.
It’s not clear what, if any, actions have been taken against the man.
