Yesterday I posted the picture above asking for guesses as to where the columns are located. There were some great guesses and quite a few people got it right!
The palm tree columns in the picture belong to Bongos Cuban Cafe in Disney Springs. So, congratulations to those that got it right!
Located on the Westside of Disney Springs, Bongos Cuban Cafe has been open since 1997 and it is owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan. The building’s design is inspired by Old Havana architecture and one thing you definitely cannot miss is the huge pineapple-shaped part of the building. It’s unique and adds some fun to the Disney Springs skyline.
The theme of Old Havana continues inside the restaurant with inspiration for the decor coming from a Havana nightclub from the ’50s. Colorful bongos and tropical plants are the background for the dining area, giving a fun and inviting feel for those dining here. There are even bar stools shaped like bongos! Outdoor seating is available too and that’s where you will get a view of the palm tree columns in this week’s picture.
Guests who dine here will enjoy authentic Cuban cuisine and cocktails. There is quite a bit on the menu to choose from, so there should be something for everyone in your party. Plus, they have a kids menu with burgers, chicken nuggets, grilled chicken, and Palomilla Steak.
