Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some great guesses, but this one proved to be a bit tough.
The display can be found at the Grand Floridian Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The spa is located in a separate building from the Grand Floridian’s main building. Guests will find it across from The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, so if you are looking for the spa head towards DVC building.
During my latest visit to Disney World, my friend and I made appointments at the Grand Floridian Spa. This was the fist time visiting the spa and it was a really nice experience. If you are looking for a relaxing environment to enjoy massage, facial, nail, hair, or body treatment, this is the place to go. In addition, the spa offers Magical Makeovers for hair and makeup. When you enter the spa you will be greeted by a cast member who will take your name, this is also where the display is located. Once your information is entered, you are brought to the waiting area, which has a number of comfortable looking loungers, light snacks, and refreshments to enjoy while you wait. This is the same area you will be brought to after your service if you would like to stay and relax for a bit. In the next room are the lockers, robes, shower, and restroom for guests to use before and after their treatments. If you want to feel extra relaxed, I suggest wearing the robe during your treatment.
My friend and I started our trip by getting pedicures, so that’s the room that I saw at the spa. There are pedicure chairs as well as an area for manicures in one room. So there isn’t a ton of spots for manicures and pedicures, but that also helps with the relaxed vibe. We both really enjoyed starting the vacation this way and will definitely be back.
