We are less than a week away from the opening of Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios and the excitement is building. Little things keep that excitement growing, like the addition of Toy Story Land to the map on the My Disney Experience app.
It’s helpful to know which rides will be down during your vacation, so that’s why the refurbishment list is good to look at before your trip. The latest refurb list is now available on the website and in the Facebook groups.
The refurb list will let you know which rides, shows, and restaurants will be closed during your vacation. During the fall and winter months the water parks will also take turns being closed for complete refurbs each year. So it helps to know dates of when things will be closed.
The latest refurb list shows the closure of Toy Story Mania! for a week, Friendship boat service to Hollywood Studios being unavailable until mid-summer, and the feature pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge being closed for an extended refurbishment.
The Walt Disney World Resort Monorail System may be on modified service and/or routes during the refurb. There will be alternative transportation options available for guests when needed. This refurbishment is ongoing.

We are just two months out now from the opening of Toy Story Land and the excitement is certainly starting to build. There’s definitely excitement for the new attractions coming to the land!
As we get closer to the opening date of Toy Story Land, Disney is releasing more information about it. The latest reveal is the menu for the quick service window, Woody’s Lunch Box.
When Woody and Jessie were removed from their meeting spot in Frontierland, guests were disappointed, because that was the only place to see Jessie. So people have been hoping she would have a new home when Toy Story Land opens on June 30.
Just a couple of days ago Disney made the official announcement of when Toy Story Land will be opening. In addition to the opening date other information is now available, include the ride height requirements.
We’ve all been waiting for it and finally we have an opening date for Toy Story Land!
