This week’s featured photo brings us to Hollywood Studios.
Sunset Seasons Greetings is a new experience that takes place every night on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Studios. It started on November 9 and will run until December 31. The show runs continuously from sundown until the park closes, so you don’t have to worry about getting there at a certain time.
Throughout the show there are billboards that come to life with different Disney characters telling stories. The story is then projected onto the Tower of Terror, music fills the street, and “snow” begins to fall.
We were lucky enough to be able to see this during our last trip and I’m glad we had time to see it. Between the characters, the music, the projections, and the “snow,” you couldn’t help but smile. The projections on the Tower of Terror are really cool. Plus, it’s fun to see how it changes with each character.
Here are the different character stories you will here:
- Mickey and Minnie – The Tower of Terror projection starts in black and white and turns to color.
- The Toy Story Characters – Wrapping paper covers the Tower of Terror.
- The Swedish Chef – The Tower of Terror turns into a gingerbread house.
- Olaf – The Aurora Borealis and falling snow are projected on the Tower of Terror.
I like that Disney is adding more and more to Hollywood Studios to keep guests entertained. There is so much construction going on there, so it’s nice to have these new experiences to keep people interested and coming back to the park.
If you are heading to Hollywood Studios before December 31 I definitely recommend sticking around to see Sunset Seasons Greetings. It’s a fun show that will get you feeling the spirit of the season!
Have you had the chance to see Sunset Seasons Greetings?
Thanks for reading!
