Enhancements Coming Later This Year for the Jungle Cruise
Disney is always building on their attractions. The latest ride to receive enhancements will be the Jungle Cruise.
Jungle Skipper Canteen to Accept Same-Day Reservations for Limited Time
Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen opened just a little while ago. The restaurant, which is themed after the Jungle Cruise, has received lots of good reviews and is a pretty popular place to eat at the Magic Kingdom. With new restaurants it can be hard to get in to try it out, because everyone wants to see it. That’s about to get a little easier for the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen, for a little while anyway.
Jungle Cruise Themed Restaurant Will Open December 16
There are lots of fun things that will be opening over the next five years or so in Disney World. New lands, restaurants, and shopping will be giving new life to areas on Disney property and one of them will be opening on December 16th.
The Jingle Cruise is Back!
Christmas has returned to the Magic Kingdom. The decorations are up and the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is happening tonight. Another favorite of the Christmas season has also returned.
Jungle Cruise Restaurant Coming to Magic Kingdom
A rumor had been going around that a restaurant themed to the popular Magic Kingdom ride would be opening in the park. Well, it’s a rumor no more.
Disney announced at the D23 Expo that the Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen restaurant will be opening in Adventureland later this year.

According to Disney Parks Blog, guests can look forward to experiencing “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” at the new restaurant. There will also be several uniquely themed dining rooms to choose from. For example, a crew mess hall and a once-hidden secret meeting room from the Society of Explorers and Adventurers.
Plus, the restaurant will be staffed by Jungle Cruise Skippers. So you can try some of the “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” and probably get a nice helping of those corny Jungle Cruise jokes you love on the side.
Not sure yet if this is going to be table service, quick service, or fast casual, but we will keep you updated as more information is released.
You can expect to see this restaurant open its doors in late 2015.
