Disney made an announcement today that comes as a bit of a surprise. The Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will close permanently on September 30, 2023.
This was the immersive experience that guests could book to experience being in the middle of the Star Wars universe. Guests could dress up and become a character, which was a draw for a lot of Star Wars fans. The fun continued with a visit to Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios, where guests could explore and interact with other Star Wars characters.
According to Disney, the final voyage for the Galactic Starcruiser will take place September 28-30, 2023. So once those final guests leave, the Starcruiser will be closing its doors permanently. Disney has said that they will reach out to guests who have trips booked after September 30 to discuss options and modify their plans. Since guests who already booked have priority, Disney will be pausing new reservations until May 26. So if you are interested in experiencing this before it closes, you can book in a week online, or contact us at Never Stop Dreaming Travel Co to help you get set up with a voyage.
Are you sad to see the Star Wars: Galactic Cruiser close? Did you ever get a chance to experience it?
