This week’s Snackshot is a nice light breakfast item. It’s available at ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios.
During my last trip, we tried breakfast at ABC Commissary while we waited for our boarding group to be called for Rise of the Resistance. It worked out well, because the food came out quickly and there is plenty of seating at this quick service restaurant. It was my first time trying breakfast there and I was pleasantly surprised.
The Smashed Avocado Toast and Egg was a good serving, but not too much, which is good when you’re walking around in the heat at a theme park. The avocado mixture was creamy and really good, I could honestly make a meal of just the avocado. There is plenty of avocado to spread on the pieces of toast, so you don’t have to ration it on each piece. The oven roasted egg was good too and you can cut that up to put on the toast with the avocado. Also included with this dish are seasonal greens with dressing. The salad was crisp and the tomatoes added a nice flavor along with the dressing.
I was pretty happy with my choice of breakfast, but I will say that my friends were also happy with their breakfast choices. The Smashed Avocado Toast and Egg was a nice light breakfast and I would definitely get it again. Plus, the restaurant has plenty of seating, so you can sit and leisurely enjoy your breakfast before tackling the park for the day.
