Today’s Picture of the Day comes from Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Boma – Flavors of Africa is easily one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we are in Disney World. It is located in Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House. I love the all the decorations in the restaurant. From the ceiling to the salt and pepper shakers on the table, the decorations are great and definitely fit the theme of the restaurant.
You can make reservations for either breakfast or dinner at this buffet. We have been for breakfast three times and love it. The food is so good. Plus, they serve a really delicious juice that is a blend of passion fruit, orange, and guava juices. The breakfast buffet has some standard breakfast offerings as well as some specialties. One of my favorites is the Bobotie.
During the last trip we finally tried the dinner buffet and it was just as good. They had some of the same things that are offered at the breakfast buffet, but also offer specialties like African inspired soups, slow-roasted pork ribs, whole roasted salmon, spiced sweet potatoes, and more. The desserts were pretty good too. Everyone was very pleased with the offerings at the dinner buffet.
At both breakfast and dinner there is also a selection of food for kids. So if they are not adventurous eaters, don’t worry, kid favorite standards will be available.
I posted a Boma dinner review not too long ago, so you can take a look at that if you are interested in Boma.
Have you ever been to Boma?
Thanks for reading!
