The departure of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights from Hollywood Studios left a lot of people wondering what the holidays would be like this year in the park. Nothing can replace the Osborne Lights, but it’s nice that Disney is offering something for guests this holiday season.
Disney announced that starting on November 14 guests can enjoy “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” a holiday spectacular that will take place on, above, and around the Chinese Theater. The plot of the show is to find Santa Claus, who is missing, and get him back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve.
The show will include state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks, and season music to go along with the show. There is something else that will be a part of the show…snow! That’s right there will be snow in Hollywood Studios.
Guests will see different holiday moments from classic Disney movies like “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” “Cinderella,” Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” plus more.
This new show will run until December 31.
This is a nice addition to Hollywood Studios, especially since it’s the first year without the Osborne Lights and there’s a bunch of construction going on in the park. I’m excited for this new show and will definitely be fitting it in on the next trip!
