This week’s ears in the spotlight is a headband that I had been eyeing for a couple of years before buying last year.
The purple and green colors are complimentary to the colors in Minnie’s witch costume for Halloween. The entire headband is covered in sequins, so they are very sparkly. Since the whole headband is sequined, you have to be a little careful with it. If some of the sequins come off it will leave an obvious hole on the headband.
The ears and the headband part are purple. The sequins almost look like they are in a swirl pattern. On the inside of the headband is a velvet like material, so it feels soft when you put it on. The headband is the same standard headband that comes on most of the ears. It’s tight enough to stay on your head, but not uncomfortable to wear.
The bow is the only green part on the headband. The sequins are just on the outside of the bow, they are not on the inside. The bow is outlined with non-sequined green material, which helps the sequined bow stand out a little more.
I love these ears, but unfortunately I have not seen them on the Shop Disney Parks app this year or on shopDisney.com, but that does not mean they are not in the parks. I would check in the World of Disney Store in Disney Springs or the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
Other sequined ears cost around $24.99, so if they are available this year they will probably cost somewhere around that price. If they do not have those available, you can always get the other sequined Halloween ears available this year, they are orange and black.
