This week’s ears in the spotlight celebrate 50 years of spooky fun in the Disney parks.
The Haunted Mansion 50th Anniversary ear headband is the newest part of the Disney Parks Designer Collection. It’s a limited release headband, so there are only so many available to purchase.
I have not purchased these ears, but they look pretty cool and would be perfect for any Haunted Mansion fan. According to the description on shopDisney.com the ears are plush and padded, so they will feel soft to the touch. Both ears have designs on the front and back. On the front, one side has a harp and the other side is a horn. On the back of the ears are ghosts on each one.
The bow is a raven is and is made of simulated leather. The eyes are red, which helps give the headband its spooky look. On the front of the raven is also a Madame Leota cameo. The back of the bow is another raven, but no cameo.
The headband is made of a non-slip band lining. Also, on the inside of the band is written “50 Years of Happy Haunts.”
These ears were designed by Kim Irvine of Walt Disney Imagineering. In addition to the fun look of the ears, they come with a drawstring storage bag, and a display box with magnetic closure and velvet bed.
The ears cost $78.00 and can be found on shopDisney.com and in the Disney parks.
