It’s getting very festive around Disney World! For instance, guests visiting Hollywood Studios this year will notice some new decorations around the park.
All the theme parks have Christmas trees in the parks, but this year Hollywood Studios has one in Echo Lake. Disney had emptied the lake to make way for these fun new decorations. The tree looks beautiful, as do the lighted floating ornaments. Plus, Gertie the Dinosaur gets to join the celebration by wearing a Santa hat and holding an ornament in her mouth. Very cute!
Also new this year are decorations that are inspired by the 1940s. There are retro Christmas reindeer in the flower beds, as well as Santa and reindeer signs on the lampposts that are meant to look like old gas signs.
The new decorations fit the theme of Hollywood Studios and I love the design of them. I can’t wait to see Echo Lake in person, because that whole section looks so festive and fun!
