This week’s featured photo takes us to Hollywood Studios.
Sometime this summer Toy Story Land will be opening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While we don’t have an official opening date, there has been a good amount of information released about the new section.
The model in the picture above is from Walt Disney Presents in Hollywood Studios and it gives guests a good idea of what the new area will look like. It was really interesting and fun to see the model. It’s definitely adding to the anticipation of the opening date.
In the model you can see the two new rides: Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. The ride vehicles for Slinky Dog Dash seem to pass underneath a bridge that guests can walk on, which is a fun detail. The ride also spans almost the whole width of the addition, at least according to the model.
A new walk-up window quick-service restaurant will also be a part of this new addition. Guests can stop by Woody’s Lunchbox to get a quick bite and relax while taking in the surrounding views of Toy Story Land.
I can’t wait to see this new land. The imagineers did a fantastic job with Pandora and I’m sure Toy Story Land will not be different. It looks like it’s going to be a fun place to visit while enjoying a day at Hollywood Studios!
