This week’s featured photo brings us to The Riverside Mill at Disney’s Port Orleans – Riverside Resort.
Disney keeps the theme each resort hotel constant throughout each hotel. Guests can easily see that by just strolling the grounds of each hotel. It is no different at Port Orleans – Riverside (POR). The southern charm that is felt in the rooms and by walking the grounds is also felt when you enter the food court.
The Riverside Mill food court is the quick service option at POR. The wood beams, decor, and furniture give it a very cozy feel. We enjoyed eating our meal in the food court. It was busy, but didn’t feel as crazy as some of the other food courts. Plus, the building that The Riverside Mill is in has a big water wheel on the side of it that actually works! It’s fun to go outside after you are done eating and watch the giant wheel.
We loved the food at The Riverside Mill too. My friend, and fellow MSW blogger, Maureen tried the Barbecued Pork Sandwhick and I tried the Roast Beef Melt. We both enjoyed the sandwiches and the house-made chips that came along with them. So good!

Me too, Mike! It’s a great place to grab a meal. 🙂
We’re staying at Port Orleans on our next trip, booked one of the Royal Rooms. So excited!!
Hi Carl!
That’s exciting! The Royal Rooms are so nice! We stayed in one this past November and the details are fantastic. There’s a video on our YouTube channel of the room: https://youtu.be/SchNi4J_8Zw
Hope you have a magical vacation!
Going to riverside July 30 party of 8 which includes 4 grandchildren!
Is this place as good as it looks!
Hi Stephen!
We really loved Riverside. The grounds are really nice to walk around, the pool is fun (there’s a big pool bar that serves drinks and food too), the boat transportation to Disney Springs is a nice option, and the food was really good. We stayed in a Royal Room and loved all the fun details. I hope you and your family have a magical time!
