When these popcorn buckets first were made available they were very popular. In fact, I remember people complaining that they could not find the Cinderella Coach bucket in the parks, only on Ebay for a ridiculous price.
So I was very excited to see that they were available again. Not only did I find the Cinderella bucket, but another popcorn stand had the Mine Train bucket. I bought both of them (not on the same day) and enjoyed the popcorn with my family. The souvenir buckets are cute and fun and the kids like playing with them.
They are made of plastic, but so far seem pretty durable (the Mine Train more so than Cinderella). They each cost less than $15 and that includes all the popcorn that comes with the bucket. The cast members over fill the buckets, so you do get a lot of popcorn.
The Cinderella bucket has Cinderella on both sides and the top of the coach opens. The wheels do move, but they don’tfeel as sturdy as the wheels on the Mine Train bucket. There is a strap you can use to carry it around when you are in the parks.
The Mine Train bucket looks like the vehicles from the Seven Dwarfs Mind Train ride in the Magic Kingdom. They not only look like them, but they move like them too! The bucket actually swings back and forth like the ride. So, just be remember that when it’s filled with popcorn! We had a couple of spills, because people forgot it moved.
It’s a really cute popcorn bucket though. The wheels move on this bucket too and they feel sturdier than the wheels on the Cinderella bucket. This one has a handle instead of a strap. You can’t put it over your shoulder, but the handle makes it easier to carry. I actually put this one in the basket below our stroller. Since it felt sturdier than the Cinderella bucket, I wasn’t afraid it was going to break. The Mine Train buckets can also be connected to each other. There is a loop on one side and a peg on the other side, which allows them to latch together.
The Cinderella Coach bucket I found at a popcorn stand near Space Mountain and the Mind Train bucket I found at a popcorn stand near Gaston’s Tavern. If you are attending one of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties you can look for the Vampire Mickey popcorn bucket. Ask the cast member at one of the popcorn stands if they have the souvenir buckets and if they don’t have them I’m sure they can point you in the right direction.
We were able to pack them in our carry-on luggage and they made it home intact. They are fun souvenirs and you can always use them as unique storage for little things around the house.
Thanks for reading!

Hi
Will these still be around for Christmas?
Thanks
Gina
Hi Gina!
They should be around at Christmas. I don’t believe they are a limited time item.
Chances are there will be specialty Christmas themed popcorn buckets too. Nothing has been announced yet, but they had special Halloween themed popcorn buckets. So we can hope!
They’re fun to have around the house. Right now we’re using ours as cookie jars 🙂

Thank you so much Liz
Greetings from Belize
Anytime Gina 🙂
I have seen some pictures of popcorn buckets from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and it looks like they are Mickey dressed in a red and green outfit. Not sure if they are only available at the parties, but it can’t hurt to ask. Hope you guys have a magical vacation!!
