One of the more popular treats to get in Disney World is the candy apple. Cast members make all different characters and different themed apples.
The apples are pretty impressive and very cute. Sometimes it’s hard to eat them, because of how cute they are. However, I usually get over that pretty fast, because they’re so good! We’ll usually get one or two and cut them up so everyone can take a piece.
Right now, there are some Halloween themed apples, in addition to the regular candy apple designs. In various stores on Disney World property guests can find themed apples like a pumpkin Mickey, a Minnie witch, and the ghost Mickey apple.
You can make these fun apples at home, believe it or not. It’s not that hard, but it does take time. I tried making them one time and they didn’t come out as I would have liked. So, I’m going to try to make either the ghost apple or the pumpkin apple and I’ll report back on how easy or hard they were to make. My goal is to have them done for the weekend as favors for my son’s fourth birthday party. Wish me luck!
