Hey Disney Fans! It’s time to talk about Disney flashback memorabilia. What are Disney flashback memorabilia? They are fun things that you’ve had for years that were purchased at one of the Disney parks or in a Disney Store. It’s fun to take them out and take a stroll down memory lane.
My stroll down memory lane happened when I came across this gorgeous bracelet last week! I can’t help myself, I needed to share it with everyone. Although I don’t remember exactly when I got this bracelet or which park is was from, I know it was sometime in the late 80’s – early 90’s.
I love that it features some of the classic characters: Tinkerbell, Goofy, Mickey, Donald, Minnie & Dumbo. Especially Dumbo! It’s so hard to find Dumbo souvenirs these days. I was happy to see that after all these years it still polished up beautifully.
I remember this being one of my favorite childhood Disney souvenirs but, alas, it’s a bit to small for my wrist these days. Fortunately, it is lovingly getting passed down to my little girl.
We’d love to hear from you and all about your favorite childhood Disney toy/souvenirs. Feel free to share in the comments!
Thanks for reading!
Steph

What a beautiful memory, thanks for sharing!
The first time I remember going to Disney, I was 12 or 13. My father bought me a pink parasol (fancy umbrella) from the Frace Pavilion in EPCOT. It was decorated (painted) in front of me, and personalized with my name! (Nothing ever has my name on it, LOL!) I remember carrying it all day, feeling like Mary Poppins with her umbrella! It’s been hanging safely in my closet for about 18 years. I forgot all about it, until I read your blog and started thinking back! Thanks for the wonderful memory jog!
The parasol sounds so pretty! What a nice piece of memorabilia to have from Disney 🙂
Maureen your parasol sounds absolutely amazing!!! What a treasured memory and souvenir!!! Thank you for sharing!!
My favorite is my autograph book I started in 1989 on my first trip. I since filled it up and started a new one but I love my old one. It has some classics autographs you never get anymore like the seven dwarfs and figment. I thought I lost it a month ago and I was so stressed my wife that I was crazy. Hahaha.
That is a great piece of memorabilia! I’m glad you didn’t lose it 🙂
I’m so glad you didn’t loose it!!!!!!! You’re right those do sound like classic autographs!! I remember seeing the 7 dwarfs when I was a child……haven’t seen them since.
First time we went with our children around 1986/1987 in the big store in Downtown Disney, there was a place were you could pick a tee shirt and have things sprayed painted on it. I still have it, Minnie with my name. I know it is not there anymore.
I would take a picture to show you, but I don’t see where to put it on here.
Sorry, I am 59 years old now, it will always be Downtown Disney to me!
I still call it Downtown Disney too, Debbie 🙂
That sounds like a fun souvenir. Too bad they don’t still have the store there!
I also found my tee shirt from when we were there and the Magic Kingdom was celebrating their 25th anniversary so I had it on last week while we were there.
Now I have a 25th and 45th anniversary tee shirt!
Nice! Tee shirts are great pieces of memorabilia.
