We are getting closer to the holiday season (hard to believe 2020 is more than half over!), so Disney decided to celebrate Christmas in July today. They’ve shared recipes, crafts, and other ideas to help bring a little joy this July.
Recipes
Disney shared some recipes on their Christmas in July blog on Disney Parks Blog. These are recipes they have shared in the past on the blog, but are reposting them together in one place. They’ve also shared a new recipe from the chefs at Disneyland. Who’s up for some baking today?
First up, the gingerbread cookies from the bakery at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. If you have ever visited the Grand Floridian during the holidays then you have smelled that delicious gingerbread smell wafting through the beautiful lobby.

One recipe has been shared for the first time today, this is the one from the chefs in Disneyland. It’s the Mini Gingerbread Bundt Cake with Orange-Vanilla Sauce. Yum! Below is a screenshot of the recipe from Disney Parks Blog, but you can also find it here.

Next up is another one from Disneyland. This is the White Hot Chocolate with Cinnamon Marshmallows that Disney shared. It is normally available at Disney California Adventure during Festival of Holidays. Nothing like hot chocolate to get you in the holiday spirit!

For the other recipes that Disney shared you can visit the post on Disney Parks Blog.
Crafts
Disney also shared some crafts to get you in the holiday spirit. One of those crafts is making Mickey snowflakes. This is a fun little craft that just needs paper, scissors (or craft knife, if you have one), and the Mickey snowflake template. These would make nice decorations to string together and hang in windows or doorways in the house.
This next craft I thought was really cute for a Disney themed table. Disney shared instructions for a Mickey centerpiece and they’re adorable! It doesn’t look too hard either. It uses a foam ring, foam circles, a foam sphere, ornaments, ribbon, hot glue gun and glue sticks, tacky glue, paint brush (or foam brush), dowel rod, and glitter. Find the instructions here.
Other craft ideas Disney shared are Mickey Snow-Mouse, Mickey Holiday Pom-Pom Wreath, Mickey-Inspired Marbled Glass Ornaments, and Mickey Mouse Felt Ornaments. Find all the instructions on Disney Parks Blog.
Enjoy Festive Videos
Another way to bring the holiday season to your house this July is by watching some festive videos. Disney shared some of those today, as well.

Holiday Merchandise
To top it off, Disney is giving everyone a sneak peek at their holiday merchandise that will be coming soon to the Disney Parks, shopDisney.com, and the Disney Store. I am loving these cute gingerbread ears! I have the ones that were released last year, but the new ones have a few differences, like the little Santa hat and the peppermint candy bow. So stinkin’ cute!

Baking items, ornaments, home decor, and a Lego Star Wars Advent calendar are some of the other holiday items fans can expect to see available soon. To get a full look, check out pictures from Disney Parks Blog.
Lots of fun stuff to check out and try for Disney’s Christmas in July celebration! Will you be baking or crafting any of the recipes or crafts that Disney shared? I really want to try that mini gingerbread bundt cake. Sounds delicious!
Thanks for reading!
