Today’s dose of Disney brings us to one of the mountains at Magic Kingdom.
Disney has released a POV video for Big Thunder Mountain, so those that are missing the “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” can “ride” it at home. This video is the latest in Disney’s #DisneyMagicMoments, where Disney will post pictures or videos highlighting something from the park. The POV videos are fun, because it helps people feel like they are there and on the ride. There are lots of videos of people using videos like this to bring some fun to quarantine time and pretend they are on rollercoasters.
Big Thunder Mountain is one of three “mountains” at Magic Kingdom, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain are the other two. Each of the mountains have their own themes with detailed queues. For Big Thunder Mountain the queue line has guests winding through a queue line that eventually descends into an abandoned mine shaft to board the train. The trains then take guests on a fast ride around the mountain. There are plenty of details during the ride too, so take a look around while on the ride. My favorite part are the animatronic goats. 🙂
