People were sad to see Seashore Sweets close. It was a fun sweet shop that served ice cream. That space is being turned into a lounge for Flying Fish, but guests can get ice cream on Disney’s Boardwalk once again.
According to Disney Parks Blog, Ample Hills Creamery opened a couple of days ago next to ESPN Club. It keeps with the 1930s theme of the Boardwalk area in the design of the ice cream parlor. There are pictures in the article and it looks like a really cute place.
Ample Hills originated in Brooklyn New York. You can read about how they started and where the name came from on their website. They also have a Facebook page where they list the flavors they offer.
The location on Disney’s Boardwalk will offer:
- 16 Signature Ice Cream Flavors
- Homespun Milkshakes
- Sundaes
- Six Different Ice Cream Cone Options
- Waffle
- Pretzel
- Cookie
- M&Ms
- Chocolate Chip
- Cake
It’s nice to see an ice cream shop on the Boardwalk again, but I do still miss Seashore Sweets. However, the cake cone and the M&Ms cone have definitely piqued my interest. Ice cream in a cake cone? Yes, please!
Are you excited for this new ice cream shop on the Boardwalk?
Thanks for reading!
