Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some good guesses, but one person who knew the answer.
Congratulations to Rebecca (rebeccaesthetics_ct) on Instagram for knowing that this picture can be found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios! Specifically, you can find this feature at Kat Saka’s Kettle in the market area. The feature in the picture is the bottom part of the popcorn display. It is made to look like it is heating the popcorn. This is a counter service area that serves popcorn and the specialty drink bottles made especially for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Menu
- Outpost Popcorn Mix ($6.49) – A colorful blend of sweet and spicy flavors.
- Bottled Orb Soda ($5.49) – Assorted Coca-Cola drinks. There is a limit of three (3) total per guest, per transaction.
- DASANI Bottled Water ($4.25) – Also comes in a specialty bottle.
The market in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has a few shops to explore. Some of them have more space than others, but they’re all on the small side, so it can get a bit crowded. There’s fun stuff to see in all of them though, so they’re definitely worth exploring. There are also a couple of places to grab food and drink (Kat Saka’s Kettle being one of them).
Market Shops
- Black Spire Outfitters – At this local tailor’s shop, travelers can check out robes and casual wear.
- Creature Stall – Guests can see different creatures from across the galaxy at this shop and bring home a new friend.
- Toydarian Toy Maker – Handcrafted toys and collectibles are available at this shop.
Market Dining
- Kat Saka’s Kettle
- Ronto Roasters – Grilled sausage and roasted pork wraps are a couple of the items that can be found here. Make sure to take some time to check out the hanging podracer engine that’s heating the meat. It’s fun to listen to the pitmaster droid who is turning the spit.
The middle area of the market also has some fun features. One of those is a creature who appears in the water tank above the water fountains. It pops its head up out of the water and guests get a kick out of it. The details in this area, like the whole land, are really good. Make sure to look around when you are there and see all the extra things on the ground and hanging on the walls. They are there just for decor, but they definitely add to the Star Wars feel for this land!
Congratulations again to Rebecca and thanks to everyone that played along this week! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
Have you explored the market in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge?
Thanks for reading!
