Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were two popular guesses for this one and both are good guesses, but only one is correct.
The sign is located at the exit of the gift shop for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. The ride, which is located in Hollywood Studios, takes guests on a high speed ride through Hollywood. The story is that Aerosmith is finishing a recording session and they are late for a concert, when the band learns they are late they invite those in line to come along for the ride.
The ride happens to be a limousine and this is what takes guests past iconic Hollywood landmarks, while listening to music from Aerosmith. During the right guests will experience 3 inversions (2 rollover loops and one corkscrew). Some of the songs you will hear on this ride are “Walk This Way,” “Dude (Looks Like a Lady),” “Sweet Emotion,” and “Back in the Saddle.” Here’s a fun piece of information, Aerosmith took their song “Love in an Elevator” and reworded it as “Love in a Roller Coaster” just for this ride.
When you get off the ride you will exit right in to the gift shop (as is the case for many of Disney’s rides). You can spend some time looking around at the souvenirs, but make sure to take a look around the hallway when you are heading to the exit. This hallway is where you will see the sign in the above picture, among other things.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to everyone that knew where the sign is located! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
Have you ridden Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster?
Thanks for reading!
