Yesterday I posted the picture above asking for guesses of where this area is located. There were a lot of great guesses and a lot of people got it right!
The most popular guess, by far, was the stage for Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. It was the most popular guess for a reason, it’s correct!
This interactive show takes place on the stage, which is near Pirates of the Caribbean. During this show Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew look to recruit kids (or scallywags) to for “sword learnin’.” Kids learn the finer points of dealing with enemies, like learning the “art of ‘distract and flee.”
Captain Jack usually only picks around 4 volunteers for “sword learnin'” so make sure to raise those hands high when he calls for volunteers. Don’t worry if you don’t get picked, because once the training is over the Captain will call up everyone else that would like to join the crew. All those that go up to be part of the crew will get a membership scroll and take the pirate’s oath!

The Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial takes place at different times throughout the day, so make sure to check the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom park. Also, keep in mind that since this is an outdoor show the performances are dependent on the weather. If there is inclement weather the show may be cancelled.
Thanks to everyone who commented with their guesses! I’m glad people are having fun with this, I know I am!
Have you ever seen Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Tutorial?
