Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. This one proved to be a bit tough though.
The flower can be found on one of the gravestones at the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom. The queue line has lots of things to look at and quite a few of those things are gravestones with funny epitaphs on them. The gravestone with the flower says “At Peaceful Rest Lies Brother Claude Planted Here Beneath This Sod.” So next time you’re in line at the Haunted Mansion make sure to check out each of the gravestones.
This ride is one of Disney’s classic and most popular rides where guests can encounter some of the 999 happy haunts, including the famous Hitchhiking Ghosts. The ride transports guests by Doom Buggy and takes them room by room in the mansion. There are lots of fun things to see during the ride, so there’s a good chance you will see something new each time.
Some of the areas guests will see include:
- The Stretching Room
- The Library
- Madame Leota’s Séance Room
- The Ballroom (look for the three plates that make a Hidden Mickey on the table)
- The Attic
- The Graveyard
The details of this attraction don’t end when you exit the mansion. Make sure to take a look at the wall and pet cemetery in the exit area. The names on the wall are creative and fun and the pet cemetery has a statue of Mr. Toad. The statue is a nod to the attraction Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, which closed years ago.
Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
Do you go on the Haunted Mansion ride during each visit?
Thanks for reading!
