Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. As always, there were some good guesses, but five people knew where to find the impression.
Congratulations to Steve, Caroline, Lisa, Phil, and Melanie, who all knew the impression can be found in Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom. These impressions can be found in the walkways all over this section of Animal Kingdom. They’re not always easy to see, but they are there and they’re one of those details that Disney is famous for with their parks.
Pandora – The World of Avatar is home to two attractions and a quick service restaurant. Satu’li Canteen is easily one of my favorite quick service restaurants, because the food is good and feels more like something you would get at a table service restaurant. Of the two attractions in Pandora, Flight of Passage is one of the most popular rides in Disney World. If you get to the park before it opens, you will see people doing the Disney hustle to Flight of Passage, so the wait time can get long pretty quickly. The second attraction is Na’vi River Journey and it’s a relaxing boat ride with some colorful and pretty scenes.
Pandora is fun to visit at any time when you are in Animal Kingdom, but I highly recommend visiting at least once when it’s dark. Areas of this section light up and it looks really pretty at night. Keep in mind Animal Kingdom is not open late, so it might only get dark before closing during certain times of the year.
