Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some really good guesses, and everyone was in the right park, but no one knew the exact location.
The paintings in the picture are located at Adventurers Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Specifically, this building is located in the Discovery Island area of the park, which is kind of the main hub of the park with pathways all branching from this section to other areas in the park. This is also the area where guests can get a good view (and picture) of the Tree of Life, which is the icon for this park.
Adventurers Outpost is where guests visiting Animal Kingdom can meet Mickey and Minnie. The meet and greets are always fun, but this one is special because Mickey and Minnie are in their expedition outfits. This meet and greet area is designed to look like their exploration headquarters and some of those design elements include pictures of the two in different locations they’ve explored. It’s a cute area and as with any Disney experience, it’s worth looking around at the decor to see the theme.
Thanks you everyone who played along this week! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon. Have you visited Mickey and Minnie at Adventurers Outpost?
Thanks for reading!
