Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where the picture is located. There were some great guesses, but one person knew exactly where to find the tower.
Congratulations to Dean T, who knew the tower can be found on the building of The Boathouse in Disney Springs. This table service restaurant can be found in The Landing section of Disney Springs, right on the water. The menu has a nice variety of seafood, steak, chicken, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and kids meals. They also have a list of wine, scotch, whiskey and bourbon, craft beers, and cocktails. The restaurant has three outdoor bars where guests can enjoy views of the water. Inside, the dining rooms have a nautical theme and on Friday and Saturday nights there is live music.
Another fun feature of this restaurant is the Amphicar launch area right next to The Boathouse. Amphicars are amphibious vehicles that start on land and drive right into the water. It’s pretty interesting to be walking around Disney Springs and see one of the cars driving around in the lake. The price for these cars is $125 per car, which can accommodate 3-4 people. Walk-up reservations can be made at The Boathouse Boatique (see what they did there). For a limited time they’re also offering a $25 reward toward an Amiphicar Tour with a purchase of $50 or more at The Boathouse or the Boatique, according to their website.
Congratulations again to Dean T and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon. Have you been to The Boathouse or ridden in an Amphicar?
Thanks for reading!
