Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. As always, there were some good guesses, but one person new where to find the bikes.
Congratulations to Sammie, who knew that the bikes can be found in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom. Specifically, the bikes are next to the restrooms that are near Festival of the Lion King. This area is on the other side of the bridge from Pandora – The World of Avatar. That section has a couple of entry and exit points, the bridge leads to Africa and it’s always a nice walk. There are some nice pictures to take along the way with the water in the background. Once the bridge ends, that is where the Africa section begins. The restroom is at the end of the bridge and the bikes are up against that building.
In addition to the bikes, there are also lots of posters and flyers to see. Disney has attached them to poles and the sides of buildings. These are some of the touches that are easy to miss, but the posters and flyers are located throughout the Africa and Asia sections. Animal Kingdom has some really great details in these areas, so it’s always interesting to take some time to just look around and find them.
