Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. As always, there were some great guesses, but two people knew exactly where to find the date.
Congratulations to Kelly and Doug who both knew the date is located inside Town Square Theater by the entrance to Tony’s Town Square Restaurant and the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet. We were waiting in line for the meet and greet when I noticed the date on the floor and took the picture. The earlier you can get in line the better, the line tends to get pretty long, especially because the characters are meeting in their 50th Anniversary outfits. We took advantage of the early entry for resort guests and ended up being the first in line. If you are first in line the characters will come out of the meeting room and walk your kid(s) back to the room hand-in-hand. The whole experience was really cute and it’s a bonus that you get pictures with them in their 50th Anniversary outfits.
Also in this area is a waiting room for Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. The theme for the restaurant is Lady and the Tramp and features from the movie can be seen in the restaurant, starting with Tony’s face on the sign. One of the cutest features is the fountain that features Lady and the Tramp. If you’re waiting for a reservation, the porch is a good place to relax and people watch. Guests can make reservations for lunch or dinner, see the menus here. Lady and the Tramp are also part of the 50th Anniversary statues, which guests can see outside the restaurant.
