Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. Eleven seasoned Disney fans who knew exactly where to find these props.
Congratulations to everyone who knew that these props can be found at Pirates of the Caribbean at Magic Kingdom. Specifically, the props are part of the end scene with Captain Jack Sparrow, you can see them off to the side in the scene. This is one of the classic Disney rides and a must-do for a lot of Disney guests.
After making their way through the well themed queue line, guests board a boat and start the journey through different scenes. Of course, one of the scenes has the famous “A Pirate’s Life for Me” song. Another famous scene is The Dungeon, where jailed pirates are trying to coax a dog holding keys to the jail cell over to them so they can escape the fire. The battle scene is fun, because water shoots up all around the boat, as if a cannonball had been shot into the water near your boat.
Keep in mind that this is a dark ride and it has some drops. So if there is anyone in your party that is sensitive to dark rides or sudden drops then you should probably pass on this one.
Congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the props and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Is Pirates of the Caribbean on your must-do list when you visit Disney World?
Thanks for reading!
