Yesterday I posted the picture above and asked for guesses as to where on Disney World property the signs are located. There were a lot of great guesses and some people it right!
The signs in the picture are located in the queue line for “The Seas with Nemo & Friends” at Epcot. The queue line is really cute, because the idea is that as you walk through the queue line you are being brought from on the beach to under the sea. It’s easy to miss the theme as you are winding your way through the line, because the focus is to get to the ride. Next time you hop on line for “The Seas with Nemo & Friends” I recommend taking a look around as you are making your way through the queue line. It’s really a cute theme and compliments the ride very well.
The ride itself is really cute too. Guests board a clam mobile, which is the ride vehicle. It’s set up like the Haunted Mansion with a moving sidewalk, so the ride is moving constantly and doesn’t stop to load guests. The ride then takes guests on a journey with Marlin and Dory to find Nemo. During the ride other characters from the movie make appearances, like Crush and Squirt, Mr. Ray, and Peach, to name a few. The most impressive part of this ride is near the end when the clam mobile glides past the aquarium where the digital characters appear to be in the aquarium with the real fish. It’s pretty cool and a fun part of the ride.
After the ride, guests can wonder around the building. There’s other stuff to see in addition to the ride, like Bruce’s Shark World, the aquarium (it’s big and there are lots of viewing opportunities), and Turtle Talk with Crush. Turtle Talk is very cute and great for little kids. The kids sit in front a big screen that has an underwater scene on it. Eventually, Crush will come cruising onto the screen. He interacts with the kids in real time, which is really cool to see. Crush calls on the kids and they get to ask him questions. It’s really cute and always a huge hit!
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to those that knew where the signs were! We’ll play again next Wednesday!
Have you been on “The Seas with Nemo & Friends?”
Thanks for reading!
