Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some great guesses, but five people knew exactly where the display is located.
Congratulations to Randi, Doug, Addi, Pam, and Disney Dennis, who all knew the display can be found in line for Na’vi River Journey in Animal Kingdom. This relaxing boat ride is in the Pandora – World of Avatar section of the park. Just like other Disney attractions, Na’vi River Journey has a themed queue line, so there’s plenty for guests to see while waiting in line. The line starts outside and then moves indoors.
Eventually, the queue line will end up inside a big hut-like structure. The queue line continues to wind while you are inside and in true Disney fashion you don’t really know how much it twists and turns. Throughout the queue line you can look around and see all the fun details that Disney has included.
Once you get to the cast member at the podium you will be let into a hallway that leads to the boats. This hallway is not long, so once you reach this point you are very close to getting on your boat. The loading area keeps with the theme very well and the reed boats are designed to look like you are going on an adventure.
After you sit in your boat your journey through the caves will begin. It’s a slow moving boat ride, so don’t expect an adrenaline rush with this one. However, the technology used for this ride is amazing. As you float through the caves you will see how colorful the rainforest is. There are things to look at all around you for the entire boat ride. Keep an eye out for the viperwolf, it’s a pretty cool site to see! The most impressive part comes near the end of your journey. The Na’vi Shaman of Songs animatronic is one of the most fluid moving animatronic I had ever seen. She looks real!
Check out the Na’vi River Journey below.
Congratulations to everyone who knew where the display is located and thanks to everyone who played along. Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
Have you been on Na’vi River Journey?
Thanks for reading!
