Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. This week there were quite a few people who were able to pinpoint where to find the sculpture in the picture.
Congratulations to the 13 people who knew the sculpture can be found on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot. This is one of those relaxing rides that’s great to do when you want to get off your feet or you want to spend some time in the air conditioning. The premise of the ride is that Donald is missing and the other two caballeros, Panchito and Jose, are looking for him. The boat takes guests through lots of bright and colorful scenes as they search for Donald.
The sculpture is located at the beginning of the ride. The boats bring guests past the San Angel Inn Restaurante, which is fun because guests in the boats can wave to guests dining at the restaurant. The sculpture is located after the Mayan pyramid and right before the boats head into the areas with the animated scenes.
The ride and restaurant are located inside a building shaped like a Mayan pyramid. Inside that building there are other experiences as well.
Additional Experiences
- An Art Gallery with Mexican Art
- La Cava del Tequila (Restaurant)
- Plaza de los Amigos (Marketplace)
The fountain in the picture below is one of my favorite Disney fountains. It’s located in the Plaza de los Amigos area and lights up a beautiful blue color.
It a great area to wander around and to escape the heat. There are a lot of nice items to look at and purchase. Plus, it’s just a fun atmosphere to spend some time in and take a break.
Thanks to everyone who played along and congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the sculpture. Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
Is the Gran Fiesta Tour one of your must-do rides on your Disney World trip?
Thanks for reading!
