Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some really great guesses, but seven of you knew exactly where this design is located.
Congratulations to Doug, Cassandra, Rosco, Jess & Heather, Linda, and Michele who all knew the design is located in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot. Specifically, you can find it on the outside of the Canadian Trading Post. This store is located up the steps, away from the main path of the World Showcase loop. It is currently listed as “Temporarily Unavailable,” but will hopefully reopen soon. The area where this store is located is fun to explore. There are lots of details around the Canada Pavilion, so definitely take a look up those steps, even if the store is closed.
When the store is open, guests can pick up a number of fun souvenirs. Just like any shop in the World Showcase, it’s fun to check out the Canadian Trading Post and see what they sell. You’ll find things like hand-carved wood gifts, Canadian maple syrup, clothing, art, toys, and more.
As I said above, there are a lot of details in the Canada Pavilion. One of the things this pavilion is known for is the steak and the cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier, but it also has some beautiful gardens, which give you a peaceful feeling.
When you get to the steps for the pavilion, follow them to the top and you’ll find different buildings. After you have seen everything at the top, you can start making your way down the other side. Here you will find an area with water and a bridge over the water that leads you closer to the gardens. The bridge leads you through a rocky area and can be another great photo opportunity.
Congratulations again to those that knew where to find the design and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Have you taken a walk around the Canada Pavilion?
Thanks for reading!
