Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it was located. I thought this might be a tough one, but nine of you knew where to find the statue in Disney World.
Congratulations to Diane, Doug, Lori, Rylie, Lisa, Gamora, Disney Dennis, Jess & Heather who all knew the statue in the picture can be found in the Italy Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase. This statue is near the area with tables by the donkey cart. It adds a nice background for guests sitting and enjoying some downtime. The statue is just one little part of everything there is to see in this pavilion.

There are some great photo opportunities in the Italy Pavilion. The buildings themselves are great for pictures, but getting closer and seeing all the detail is the fun part when taking pictures. One of the pictures from the Italy Pavilion I love is a picture of the gondolas in the water with Spaceship Earth in the background.
There are also some good restaurants and shopping experiences in the Italy Pavilion. It’s fun going to this pavilion to explore the different shops. From clothes to Murano glass, the shops in the Italy Pavilion have a lot for you to see.
For porcelain, crystal, handbags, clothes, accessories, and Murano glass, head over to Il Bel Cristallo. If you want to see some fun Venetian masks then you need to check out La Bottega Italiana. Another shop you can visit in the Italy Pavilion is La Gemma Elegante.
For food, there is no shortage of options:
- In the mood for some yummy gelato? Make sure to stop by the Gelati stand. They also have other desserts, frozen drinks, coffee, wine, and other drinks available.
- There are also some good table service restaurants: Tutto Italia Ristorante and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.
- Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar is a lounge located near the restaurant and has plates for two available, desserts, Paninis, specials, and pasta available to order.
- Via Napoli Pizza Window is a quick service dining option where guests can get pizza without going into the restaurant. They also have different drinks available at the window.
Congratulations again to all who knew where to find the statue and thanks to everyone who played along! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
What’s your favorite thing to see in the Italy Pavilion? Thanks for reading!
