Disney’s complimentary airport transportation, the Magical Express, is ending services this year. The company that ran the Magical Express will still be offering transportation, for a fee, starting next year.
Mears Connect will be offering transportation to different Walt Disney World Resort hotels beginning on January 1. Right now they are offering an introductory rate for those that book now. There are two different options to choose from: Standard and Premium.
Standard Service
- Introductory Cost: $32
- Wait Time: Up to 20 minutes from check in at the Mears Connect reception area at Orlando International Airport.
- This is a shared service (bus or van) that will make a limited number of stops.
Premium Service
- Introductory Cost: $200
- Wait Time: Limited to No Wait Time
- Direct Service to the Guest’s Disney World Resort Hotel
The Mears Connect reception area will be located on the B side of the Orlando International Airport on level 1. There will be signs pointing guests in the right direction. Both Standard and Premium Service guests will be picked up at their resort for their return flights. For Standard Service, guests will be picked up at their resort up to three hours before a domestic flight and up to four hours before an international flight. Premium Service guests will be picked up at their resort two ours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international flight. For those who will be using a wheelchair, both the Standard Service and the Premium Service will be able to accommodate.

Where do we go to book this ? How long will the introductory rate be available. We are traveling in May

We are planning to go to Disney World for New Years this year and have confirmed with a couple of different Disney vacation planners that Magical Express will be available to take guests back to the airport until January 10, as long as your arrival date is this year (before January 1st). There are so many changes happening that it is nice not having to worry about figuring out transportation for our trip now.
