Since last October, the Rivers of America has been dry. During that time the Liberty Belle was put in dry dock behind Magic Kingdom.
This week brought some good news regarding the riverboat, because it is once again sailing around the Rivers of America. The boat ride on the Liberty Belle is a relaxing ride and a great option when you’re looking to slow down for a bit. On the half-mile journey guests are treated to views of Frontierland and Liberty Square, with some of those views only available on this boat ride. See different views of attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and the Haunted Mansion, to name a couple.
In addition to the different views of attractions, there are also scenes set up on the banks of the river. These scenes are explained in the narration that plays on the Liberty Belle throughout the ride around the river. Some things to look out for on the journey: an early American settlement, a Native American village, Harper’s Mill, Fort Langhorn, Wilson’s Cave Inn, and some woodland animals.
There are four decks on this 47-foot tall riverboat, which give guests different viewpoints. The seating is limited, so get in line early if you would like to sit during the ride. Disney’s video below shows the Liberty Belle leaving dry dock and being returned to Magic Kingdom.
See the full 17 minute ride in the video below.
