The refurbishment list for Disney World has been updated. This update includes the closures in Hollywood Studios, the closing of Seashore Sweets’ on Disney’s Boardwalk, and the long refurb for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Here is another Disney World closure to add to the list.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, DisneyQuest will close next year to make room for the new NBA Experience that will be built in its place.
DisneyQuest is an indoor interactive theme park that opened in 1998. It has five floors of games ranging from old school arcade games to fun virtual games (Virtual Jungle Cruise and CyberSpace Mountain are two examples).
The Orlando Sentinel also stated that those who work at DisneyQuest will have new jobs available to them.
