It’s no secret that there is a lot of construction going on in Disney World. Disney Springs, Hollywood Studio, and Animal Kingdom are all getting some attention. So it’s always fun when new information is released.

We still have a while before Pandora – The World of AVATAR opens in Animal Kingdom, it’s set to open in 2017, but it helps that Disney releases pieces of information here and there. Now we have a better picture of what the Na’vi River Journey will include.

Sneak Peek of AVATAR in Animal Kingdom
Disney Parks Blog has posted a video giving us a sneak peek at what we can look forward to when AVATAR comes to Animal Kingdom. Guests will get to walk through Pandora when the the new section opens.
Some of the ideas they would like to bring to life include the impressive floating mountains, the interactive bioluminescent forest, and the banshees.
The creative development team is led by Joe Rhode, who was the creative force behind Expedition Everest, so we can only imagine he has some impressive things planned for this new part of Animal Kingdom.
