Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on winning the Super Bowl yesterday! Patrick Mahomes was named the game’s MVP, so of course he is heading to Disney World to celebrate.
Mahomes will take part in the parade this afternoon in Disney World, which has become a yearly tradition for the MVP of each Super Bowl. Disney is doing something extra special this year by inviting a Make-A-Wish child, 10-year-old Nathaniel, to ride in the parade as well!

In addition to inviting Nathaniel to join, Disney also extended invitations to 17 other Make-A-Wish kids, whose wish it was to go to the Super Bowl, to spend today visiting Magic Kingdom. But wait, there’s more. Disney Parks has also decided to donate $1 million to Make-A-Wish in honor of Mahomes’ MVP performance!
Disney Parks Blog will post the livestream on their page, which will begin around 2:40 p.m. ET today. If you can’t watch it while it’s happening live you can still watch later. Disney usually keeps the link up so people can rewatch it or watch it at a later time.
