This week’s Snackshot brings us to Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Steakhouse 71 is in the location that formerly housed The Wave… of American Flavors. This was the first time I had been back since the change over, so I was interested to try the new restaurant, as were my friends who joined me for dinner. Obviously, there are multiple different types of steaks you can order, but there are also chicken dishes, fish dishes, and vegetarian dishes. Everyone in my party was pretty happy with everything they ordered and the cast member helping us was very friendly and fun (Thanks Gary!).
While my whole meal was really good, today I’ll focus on the appetizer I ordered. I’m a big fan of French Onion Soup, so if it’s on the menu, the chances are good that I’m going to order it. I’ve had this soup at so many different places and I’ve rarely had a bad experience with it and this was no exception. The cheese was perfectly melted and just crispy enough over the crock, there were plenty of onions in the soup, but not too many, and I didn’t find it overly salty. So this is one thing I will definitely be ordering again the next time I eat here and if you like French Onion Soup then I would recommend giving this a try if you eat at Steakhouse 71.
Hope you enjoyed this week’s Snackshot! Are you a fan of French Onion Soup?
Thanks for reading!
