This week’s Snackshot is a fun treat available in Disney Springs.
Amorette’s Patisserie is located in the Town Center area of Disney Springs, next to the World of Disney Store. One of the items this store is known for is the character dome cake. These cakes are, as the name suggests, dome shaped. The cakes are decorated with the colors of different Disney characters, like Mickey and Donald. In addition to the dome cakes there are other pastries (some themed after other Disney characters), alcoholic drinks, nonalcoholic drinks, wine, and coffee with alcohol. One of the drinks on the menu, Sparkling Red, comes with a white chocolate Minnie Mouse topper.
The pastry in this week’s picture is one of their signature pastries that is available every day. For those that are a fan of chocolate, this is a pastry for you. Amorette’s Rose is a chocolate biscuit with dark chocolate mousse and raspberry sauce. This is a pastry that has been available at the shop for years and it’s a popular choice for guests.

- Candle Petit Cake – Black Velvet Cake with Spiced Berry Jam, Pumpkin Ganache, and Dark Chocolate Glaçage
- Apple Cheesecake – Vanilla Cheesecake, Apple Compote, Apple-Caramel Ganache, Spiced Graham Cracker Crust
- Pumpkin-Spiced Crème Brûlée – Vanilla and Pumpkin-spiced Crème Brûlée with Maple Whipped Cream and Meringue
- Cherry Pie Éclair – Éclair filled with Cherry Pie Filling, Streusel, and Vanilla Mousse
- Peanut Butter Éclair – Éclair filled with Peanut Butter Mousse, Caramel Ganache, and Nougat Pieces
- S’mores Éclair – Éclair filled with Marshmallow Mousse, Chocolate Ganache, and Graham Cracker Crust
- Halloween Brownie – Topped with Cookie Pieces, Passion Fruit Crispy Pearls, and Chocolate Coin
- Halloween Cookie – Chocolate Chip Cookie with Pretzel Pieces, Toffee, Milk and Dark Chocolate Chips, and Chocolate Coin
The above treats are available during this fall season. Once fall is over, and the holiday season begins, there will be new limited time offerings. Seeing the different decorated cakes and pastries is why I love going into Amorette’s to look around, there are always such beautiful baked goods to see. I highly recommend stopping by and trying one of their treats.
