As mentioned above, there is a limit to how many rooms are available for this offer. That means that not everyone staying at the resort will be able to use this discount, so if you would like to take advantage of the offer I wouldn’t wait on this. If you booked the trip yourself you can check online or call Disney to check on discount availability. If you booked through a travel agent chances are they have already checked on the discount for you.
If this discount is something you would like to take advantage of, and you are not yet booked, please feel free to contact me for a quote. I’m always happy to talk Disney! 🙂
Thanks for reading!

Polynesian reesort as whole should be in the excluded resort. This is the first time I have not seen it as a listed discount, not even 10%. We are going In August to the Poly and I called this morning. I was afraid they may not be opening on time, as they were not listed for discount and when I looked up availability, all room categories were marked as unavailable. The agent says they are still opening on time and that the resort chose not to be a part of the promotion. Even with renovations, I don’t think it’s really worth full price right now with so many other things unavailable to do or see at Disney right now. I want to change resorts but my daughter loves the splash pad there and the pads at the other Deluxe resorts don’t have that enclosed curly slide. So…..guess I am paying regular price.
That’s weird, the Deluxe Studios are on the list for a discount in the announcement from Disney. I would keep checking, because sometimes you get different answers from different cast members and maybe a discounted room will become available.
Thanks for the advice! I will check again tomorrow and see what someone else says. I think it’s weird too and the first thought I had was that they were heading for a delayed opening since no rooms showed availability either, but the rep said it was on track.
You’re welcome! I’ll keep my fingers crossed that a discounted room becomes available for you. 🙂 Hopefully, the reopening doesn’t get delayed. A lot of people are looking forward to it reopening. I’m hoping once it’s open that ‘Ohana will reopen too. Miss that place!
Hi. Spoke with two different representatives. One told me the poly wasn’t part of the sale because they haven’t published a hard opening date yet, which doesn’t really make sense. The other told me that the hotel has been selling out at full price so the hotel felt they didn’t need to join the promotion. If that’s the case, I think they may see a lot of cancellations since people booked on blind faith that it will open on time and people will see they can save a ton of fun switching resorts. I’m hoping O’hana opens too. Think it would need to if you have a hotel full of guests and not enough places to eat there.
That’s so weird, because I just checked and the Deluxe Studios are definitely still listed in the announcement on the travel agent website. Did they say there are no discounts at all or just in the Deluxe section of the resort? The Deluxe Studios are part of the Deluxe Villa and Bungalow section (the Disney Vacation Club area of the resort) that guests can book. It sounds like they’re trying to get people into the DVC section of the resort, which stinks for those staying in the Deluxe section. The resort is still planned for a late July 2021 opening, so it will definitely be open during the promotion period. I think it’s probably what the second cast member said about the resort booking up and not needing to fill rooms, unfortunately. Disney only does these offers when they need to fill rooms. Notice none of these offers overlap with the 50th anniversary on October 1, I think they’re trying to get people in before the anniversary date, because they have probably booked up quite a bit in the hotels that are open for the anniversary.
Thank you for the information, I appreciate it!
You are correct- only studios and bungalows included in sale. Nothing for resort. I do think that a lot of people book expecting at least the usual 15% discount that the Poly has done during promotions. I wonder how many will switch to save 25% at the GF, Wilderness or Beach Club. That’s significant money saved.
I’m curious too. I’m guessing there will be some resort switching. The Poly is beautiful, but it’s hard to pass on those savings.
